Nexus Logic (Pty) Ltd, trading as Work Marketplace (registration number 2026/756972/07, George, South Africa) — Effective Date: 9 October 2026 (last updated 13 October 2026)
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on or using Work Marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Work Marketplace is an online platform that allows individuals seeking work ("Job Seekers") to create profiles, and businesses ("Employers") to describe roles they need filled, so that the Platform can help connect the two.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in South Africa (for Job Seekers) or legally authorised to represent a business (for Employers) to use the Platform.
4. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that all information you submit, including CV content, qualifications, references and qualification certificates, is accurate and not misleading. Work Marketplace does not independently verify qualifications, references or work history submitted by users.
5. Third-Party Advertisers and Service Providers
Work Marketplace displays advertisements and links for independent third parties, such as CV writers, online opportunity providers, agents, labour consultants and education or training providers ("Advertisers"). Advertisers are not employees, agents or representatives of Work Marketplace.
When you tap an Advertiser's link or "Tap to chat" button, you may be taken to a third-party service such as WhatsApp. Any communication, agreement, payment or transaction is solely between you and the Advertiser. Work Marketplace is not a party to it.
Work Marketplace does not verify, endorse or guarantee any Advertiser, their qualifications, claims, prices, services or products, and we do not accept responsibility for their quality, accuracy, delivery, results or conduct. You should make your own enquiries before paying any Advertiser or sharing personal information with them.
To the extent permitted by law, Work Marketplace is not liable for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of dealing with an Advertiser. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any complaint about an Advertiser's services should be addressed to that Advertiser, and you may report concerns about an Advertiser to us at info@workmarketplace.co.za.
Work Marketplace does not currently charge users for any services on the Platform. We may record that you tapped an Advertiser's link, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. No Guarantee of Employment or Placement
Work Marketplace facilitates introductions between Job Seekers and Employers. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or successful placement, and we are not a party to any employment relationship or agreement that may result.
7. User Conduct
You may not upload unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or fraudulent content, or misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or the role being offered.
8. Intellectual Property
The platform design and content are the property of Work Marketplace. You retain ownership of the personal information and content (such as your CV content) that you submit.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Work Marketplace is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform, including reliance on information provided by other users or Advertisers.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
